What Shopify teams ask before they install.

Is Depra a Shopify-only app, or cross-platform?+

Cross-platform. Depra runs on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, and custom stacks via REST API. Shopify gets the tightest native integration — one-click install, full data streaming, Shopify-admin embedded dashboard — because that's where most D2C volume lives.

Does it work with Shopify Plus?+

Yes, and some features are Plus-specific (checkout extensibility hooks, script editor integration for on-brand checkout messaging, multi-store support under one Depra account). Plus customers also get priority SLAs and dedicated customer success.

How does pricing interact with Shopify's own messaging charges?+

Shopify doesn't charge for WhatsApp or voice — those go through Meta and your telephony provider. Depra's per-conversation fee is on top of those pass-throughs, which we show transparently on depra.ai/pricing. Nothing on the Shopify bill changes.

Can I use Depra alongside Klaviyo, Postscript, or Attentive?+

Yes, and most D2C brands do. Klaviyo owns email segmentation, Postscript/Attentive owns US SMS broadcast, Depra owns the conversational layer (WhatsApp + voice + email replies). Two-way sync via native connectors — no double-messaging.

What happens to my existing Shopify cart-recovery emails?+

You can keep them, disable them, or let Depra handle the full recovery sequence. Most brands disable Shopify's stock recovery emails within 30 days of installing Depra — the conversion rate gap is large enough that running both is clearly lossy.

Do I need a developer to set this up?+

No. The app-store install is zero-config. Brand-voice brief and escalation rules are natural language. If you want custom flows (e.g., tie a winback to a specific Shopify metafield), our solution engineers do that in a paired onboarding call.

What about GDPR / Shopify's customer data protection?+
